The Smithsons made the treck—thank you once again!—so we could have a lovely lunch in Los Gatos to celebrate Mother's Day. L-R: Anna & Emily (my nieces), Adam, Gertrud (my momma!), me, Cornelia (my sister) and Terry (my brother from another mother).

Lunch at Steamer's

It was great to see Emily, who just got back from studying abroad in China. (Check out her blog for some amazing photos and stories.) She brought us a supercute wine bottle kimono, which Adam immediately turned into a puppet.
